The Chianti Riserva is one of the best-value reds in Lidl's core range, and this attractively packaged Vino Nobile is another Tuscan red in the core line-up that offers lots of bang for your buck. It's also made from the Sangiovese grape variety, and is drinking beautifully, with an expressive, bright and sapid red cherry character, and sausage meat flavours. Good acidity lifts the wine and makes it a great match for pasta ragu. Great Tuscan typicity and charm.
